Embitterment
05:34
|
|
||
Drowning in the putrid flames of grim reincarnation
Forever damned to walk the earth in silence
Echoes of a forgotten age pollute my once-stalwart psyche
Death calls, but comes not
I suffer alone, a lost relic

The Pale Horse
05:37
|
|

Death, the winter of life
A descent of idyllic stillness
A reclamation of atrophy to still the forlorn mind
Life, the pathogen of entropy
A meliorism of law
A perseverance in spite of an implacable world
Light Fractured by the skeletal canopy irradiates titian leaves along the path
Mutely, I traverse, disquieting not the autumnal stillness
Yet, the pale horse follows
A somnambular pace, traversing a lucid dream
and present causeway to the end of all light
Apocalypse of the soul
Left no trace upon this path
To witness the death of oneself
To fall into eternity
A rigid statue
Toppled in the slightest breeze
But where the pale horse rides
A storm will always follow
Somatic slumber, from which one never wakes
Abstractedly harvested for the coffers of the black throne
Slain for the coffers of the black throne!
Killed by death to be made immortal!

Earthen Eyes
03:49
|
|
||
Earthen eyes sear and blacken the ravaged fens
Talons crusted crimson crush corpses and wills
Guise of iron, casting shadows over those oppressed
Jaws of crystal, luminescent in the dying candlelight
Elegies of inhumations foregone
Dirges destined in the coming black
Monolithic is our ignorance
Souls of the dreaming dead our own
Earthen eyes, subhuman depictions of our own intent
Divinity, odious in its tyrannical reclamation

Frost and Flame

Can this be a creation of God?
Can there be a god?
Isolation
Life gone
Has death taken its place?
Desolation my home
Dimension of paradox
One hundred thousand eyes
I see all
I see
Nothing
A soul of fire
A body of ice
What reality I knew
Is not, never was
Consummation of death and life
In the realm of frost and flame
Overwhelming
My senses corrupted
An orgy of otherworldly visions
Insanity is the only thing sane
Mountains turn into waves
Swallowing all in its wake
The ground, trembling beneath me, opens wide
To embrace me
A soul of ice
A body of fire
What reality I knew
Is not, never was
Consummation of death and life
In the realm of frost and flame

Ancient Strength
04:56
|
|
||
Along the wood’s edge
Lone apparition
Ramification
Of Elysium forlorn
A new wave of darkness
Trepidates the black pines
Lunar misanthrope
At the hands of an unworthy god
Upon this blighted land
is cast a challenge
traverse the sea of plagues
to reach my astral keep
Epoch of twilight
Vessel of spirits
Hero of shadows
Awakened from an age of dreamless sleep
Deep within lightless groves
A mythic slayer
Scriptor of legend
Exhumer of ancient strength
A mounting answer
To a blackened hail
once unmatched power
now with equal in sight
A war of ages
Rivals of dusk and dawn
Two fates determined
Tyrant of black expunged
Epoch of twilight
Vessel of spirits
Hero of shadows
Awakened from an age of dreamless sleep

Algid Funeral
06:01
|
|
||
Under ephemeral light of the crescent moon and stars
Fractured by a veil of liquescent mist and falling snow
Amongst the moonlit sastrugi, brumal souls converge to mourn what is lost
Tomb ov ebony
Mort ov cold
Vessel ov anguish
Glacial wold
The bleak glow through winter’s nebulous shroud stands as our only vigil
The wind’s baleful roar our only dirge
To the soils we return

Rane
05:39
|
|
||
Thy rane slakes my soul
Fills my will, makes me whole
To the voices I resign
Assume my doom, vacate my mind
At last
Idyllic hallucinations clench me
Amidst their tempest, I implore
Drink my soul
May its harrowing recollections depart me
for all time
Bones strengthen
Sinew tightens
My true potential
Long resigned to earthly pursuits
Awakens
I breathe again
And again
My rane
Like thunder within me
Cannonfire
Amongst the masses
Of which I assume control
